Kia ora, my name is Lynsey, owner of Canine & you. As far back as I can remember I've loved dogs. Throughout my life, my passion for all things canine has never subsided.

I moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2012, and while continuing to work in the travel and tourism industry, my interest and love of dogs only grew stronger. This ultimately led me to take the plunge and change careers.

In 2021 I completed my certificate in Canine Behaviour & Training and haven't looked back. Since then, I've been working with dogs and their humans, finding great joy through my positive reinforcement methods to nurture meaningful, lasting relationships.

I am also a board member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers New Zealand - APDTNZ.

Kia ora, I'm Sophie a trainer at Canine & you.

I moved to New Zealand from Ireland two years ago with my beloved Lab cross, Izzy, and have since added Archer, a French Mastiff x Rhodesian Ridgeback pup (pictured right) and a proud foster fail!

After years as a dental nurse in Ireland, I followed my heart into the dog world.

I love celebrating each dog's unique personality and helping dogs and their humans build stronger bonds and grow in confidence. I'm also a qualified Pet First Aider, so your dog is in safe hands.

I can't wait to meet and fall in love with your dog. Disclaimer: I will.

Hi, I am Abby.

I have loved animals my whole life and have had a pet since I was three years old.

My golden retriever, Roxy completed her own training with Canine & you and I now help out at puppy classes on Wednesday evenings.

I love watching the puppies grow, develop and gain confidence over the course of the puppy sessions.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and your puppy in class!
